Description

Our original classic Wightcakes are fishcakes handmade with chunks of seasonal white fish along with spring onions, fresh herbs and just the right amount of seasoning.

Our Wightcakes were inspired by, and are named after the beautiful Isle of Wight, which is where we first crafted them from a catch of white fish sustainably fished by the Needles Fishermen’s Co-operative.

We are passionate about the environment and sustainability and we work with fishermen from our region, and local producers and growers whenever possible.

Wightcakes make the perfect quick dinner, serve with a side of fresh garden peas and thick-cut wedges.

Available in packs of 4 (serves 2) or packs of 15.

Keep refrigerated – below 4°C. Suitable for home freezing.

Cooked white fish (37%), cooked potatoes, egg, sunflower oil, spring onion (6%), breadcrumbs (wholemeal wheat flour, wheat flour [calcium carbonate, iron niacin thiamin], water, salt, yeast, palm stearin, rapeseed oil), onion, lemon juice, parsley, wheat flour [calcium carbonate, iron niacin thiamin], lemon zest, sunflower oil, seasoning.

Remove all packaging and place on a baking tray.

Fresh: Cook in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan) / Gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes until the crumb is crispy and heated through.

From frozen: DO NOT DEFROST. Cook in a preheated oven at 170°C (fan) / Gas mark 3 for 30-35 minutes until piping hot.

Air fry for 12 minutes at 170°C or according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
